Chefs Choice believes that education is the key to running a successful business and giving back is important. In conjunction with NMIT and the Culinary Academy at Sofitel, Chefs Choice does just that.

Apprentice education is key and in an effort to better educate our up and coming hopefuls Chefs Choice assists in product education from in class demos to factory tours assisting young chefs in their journey to becoming our industry leaders. Chefs Choice also extends this offer to you our loyal customers, should you wish to brush up on your meat knowledge or knife skills or you require some in house training from kitchen staff to front of house we can assist.

Our professional sales team with a combined industry knowledge exceeding 40 years can also assist in the day to day planning and development of menu’s giving recommendations on the best value cuts available for your specific dish.

The Academy prides itself on graduating highly skilled students with the latest culinary skills and modern flair and approach to cooking, presentation and guest service.

Our close association with Chefs Choice has enabled butchery training to come out of the training kitchen and on to the butchery floor. Each year the students visit Chefs Choice for a tour of the premises and are given the opportunity to work alongside these professional butchers.
